Facelift Bradenton
A facelift is a procedure that is performed to address the signs of aging.
As we age, our facial skin can loosen its elasticity and as a result,
the skin will loosen and wrinkle, and the muscles within our neck may
weaken as well. This can be caused not only by age, but also by over exposure
to the sun, weight fluctuations, and heredity. A facelift can help repair
some of these problems by firming and tightening the skin of the face
and neck. For a more complete facial rejuvenation, facelifts are frequently
performed in conjunction with other procedures such as upper eyelid blepharoplasty
and lower eyelid blepharoplasty. In some cases, collagen or Botox injections
are recommended for deep creases in the forehead or frown lines between
the eyebrows. A facelift however, cannot change the texture of the skin.
Fine lines, acne scars, age spots, etc, will eventually return to their
original texture. Fortunately, there are skin treatments available to
help these problem areas.
